LifeWise Academy is seeking a substitute teacher to support LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis. The role requires participation in an active local church and a mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise beliefs.

You will complete substitute teacher training, implement provided lesson plans, and maintain a safe, organized classroom following LifeWise policies. Responsibilities include attendance, classroom maintenance, and clear communication with the teacher and volunteers.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have a mature personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training.
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis.
• Implement the LifeWise curriculum provided by the teacher.
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom following LifeWise policies and procedures.
• Follow the program's student discipline policy.
• Take attendance and provide attendance records to the teacher.
• Maintain a clean, attractive and well-ordered classroom and know procedures for emergencies.
• Act as a LifeWise Academy ambassador within the community and communicate lesson plans with volunteers before class.
• Communicate with the teacher about class plans and assignments.
