Qualifications

• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy beliefs
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the What We Believe section

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis
• Implement the lesson plans using the LifeWise curriculum provided by the teacher
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom environment following LifeWise policies and procedures
• Follow the program's student discipline policy
• Maintain attendance records by taking attendance in each class and providing records to the teacher
• Maintain a clean and well-ordered classroom and know procedures for emergencies
• Act as a LifeWise Academy ambassador within the community
• Communicate lesson plans with volunteers before class and assign duties
• Communicate with the teacher
