Qualifications

• Must have mature personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with the LifeWise Statement of Faith

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis
• Implement the LifeWise curriculum provided by the teacher
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom environment following LifeWise policies
• Follow the program's student discipline policy
• Maintain attendance records and provide them to the teacher
• Maintain a clean, well-ordered classroom and know emergency procedures
• Act as a LifeWise Academy ambassador within the community
• Communicate lesson plans with volunteers before class and coordinate duties
• Communicate with the teacher
