Ideal candidates actively participate in a local church and align with LifeWise beliefs. This is a part-time, non-exempt, hourly position with duties including attendance and classroom maintenance, and collaboration with volunteers and the lead

Qualifications

• Must maintain a mature Christian faith consistent with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training.
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis.
• Implement the LifeWise curriculum provided by the teacher.
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom environment following LifeWise policies and procedures.
• Follow the program's student discipline policy.
• Maintain attendance records and provide them to the teacher.
• Keep a clean, attractive and well-ordered classroom.
• Know procedures for emergency situations.
• Communicate lesson plans with volunteers before class and with the teacher.
• Act as a LifeWise Academy ambassador within the community.
