Job summary

Build-A-Bear Workshop is seeking a Sales Lead on Duty who also serves as Floor Leader on designated shifts. This role guides a team to meet store sales goals while modeling Experience First behaviors for a memorable guest experience.

When not designated as Floor Leader, the Sales Lead functions as a Bear Builder, delivering exceptional guest service, upholding brand standards, and supporting teammates in a welcoming, high-energy retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Availability to work 15-25 hours per week.
• Associate’s degree in business, management, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be a role model providing exceptional Guest service to help guests have a memorable experience.
• Guide, support, and direct a team to ensure smooth store operations and sales goals.
• Model Experience First behaviors and provide feedback to management on performance and compliance.
• Act as Floor Leader on Duty during designated shifts, while otherwise serving as Bear Builder.
• Engage with Guests, create a warm atmosphere, and uphold brand standards throughout shifts.
