Job summary

Build-A-Bear Workshop, Inc. is seeking a Sales Lead who also serves as Floor Leader on Duty to guide Bear Builders and drive store sales. This role blends leadership with frontline customer service in a busy retail environment.

On designated shifts, you will direct a team, model Experience First behaviors, and ensure guest satisfaction while maintaining brand standards across operations. A flexible retail schedule is required, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Availability to work 15-25 hours per week.
• Associate’s (or higher) degree in business, management, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Be a role model by delivering exceptional Guest service to create a memorable experience.
• Guide, support, and direct a team of associates to ensure smooth store operations and sales goals.
• Model Experience First behaviors.
• Provide feedback to management about performance and compliance issues.
• Provide exceptional Guest service by actively engaging with Guests using Experience First Make Behaviors.
• Create a warm, inclusive atmosphere for Guests, fostering positive interactions and ensuring guests leave satisfied.
• Uphold operational excellence by meeting brand standards and ensuring a seamless experience for Guests.
• Display strong teamwork, being dependable, engaged, and helpful.

Education
