Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a part-time teacher to share gospel values with public school students using LifeWise materials. The role requires prior classroom teaching experience and active church involvement to align with our faith-based program.

The candidate will participate in ongoing training, maintain classroom records, and collaborate with school staff and volunteers to support student well-being and a redemptive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience (with students) in either a school or church setting.
• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise's beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training and the Teacher Certification Course within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the curriculum and build relationships with students.
• Maintain attendance, class rosters, health notes and permissions as needed.
• Keep a clean, organized classroom and manage supplies and safety procedures.
• Communicate with program director, school personnel and volunteers about schedules and student well-being.
