Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time LifeWise Teacher to share the gospel with public school students. The role combines Bible knowledge with classroom teaching, emphasizing relationship-building and a redemptive classroom environment.

The ideal candidate participates in a local church, communicates well, and is caring and perceptive. Responsibilities include training, lesson implementation, attendance, and ongoing collaboration with staff.

Qualifications

• Two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting.
• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training and LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and tailor as needed.
• Take attendance and maintain accurate class rosters and health/permission records.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and manage appropriate safety procedures.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers, and program director; promote LifeWise's mission.
