Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a part-time LifeWise Teacher to share the gospel while teaching public school students using the LifeWise curriculum. You will train, plan lessons, build relationships, and foster a redemptive classroom environment in accordance with LifeWise values.

The ideal candidate is an active church participant with strong communication and interpersonal skills, caring and perceptive, and committed to ongoing training and classroom responsibilities.

Qualifications

• What candidates must have: two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting.
• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church aligned with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the curriculum and map out curriculum customization
• Invest in connecting with students through relationships and prayer
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe classroom and procure supplies as needed
• Take attendance and maintain rosters; provide records as needed
• Communicate with program director and school personnel; share updates and photos
• Promote LifeWise's religious mission in all duties
