Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time LifeWise Teacher to share the gospel in public school classrooms, combining Bible knowledge with engaging teaching. The ideal candidate participates in a local church and demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Training and ongoing support are provided to foster a caring and effective classroom environment. The role involves implementing the LifeWise curriculum, building relationships with students, and communicating with program staff.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting.
• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training, including the LifeWise Teacher Certification Course within 30 days and annual LifeWise Summit.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and develop personalized lesson plans.
• Invest in relationships with students and pray for them regularly to foster a redemptive classroom.
• Maintain attendance records, rosters, and materials for substitutes as needed.
• Keep a clean, organized classroom and manage supplies with program funds.
