Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a Part-Time LifeWise teacher who will combine in-depth Bible knowledge with strong classroom instruction to share the gospel with both churched and unchurched public school students.

The ideal candidate is an active church participant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, caring and perceptive, proficient in teaching children, and committed to LifeWise policies and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience with students in school or church settings.
• Active participation in a local church with doctrine aligned to LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Mature Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training, including LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days of start date.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map curriculum customization.
• Invest in connecting with students through relationships and prayer; maintain an engaging classroom.
• Maintain attendance and class rosters, including health concerns and permissions as needed.
• Communicate with school personnel and LifeWise program director; attend annual LifeWise Summit.
• Promote and communicate LifeWise's religious mission in all duties and interactions.
