Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time LifeWise teacher to share the gospel within public school classrooms using the LifeWise curriculum. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with strong communication and interpersonal skills, caring for students in a classroom setting.

The role covers training, lesson planning, classroom management, and relationship-building with students, families and school staff, while embodying LifeWise's values and beliefs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting.
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy's beliefs.
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training, including LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days of start date.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using LifeWise curriculum and tailor as needed.
• Invest in relationships with students and pray for them regularly.
• Maintain classroom organization, attendance, and rosters; prepare materials for substitutes.
• Communicate with school personnel and LifeWise staff; promote LifeWise's mission.
