Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a Part-Time LifeWise Teacher to share gospel values with public school students in a classroom setting. Ideal candidates are active church participants with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, caring, perceptive, and proficient in teaching children.

Requirements include at least two years of classroom teaching experience, mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy’s statement of faith, and active church involvement.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of classroom teaching experience in school or church settings.
• Active participation in a local church aligned with LifeWise beliefs.
• Mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial and ongoing training, including certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise classes using the LifeWise curriculum and engage students.
• Invest in relationships with students and pray for them regularly.
• Maintain attendance and class rosters; prepare information for substitutes.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and communicate with school personnel.
• Promote LifeWise's religious mission in all duties and interactions.
