Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a Part-Time LifeWise teacher to share biblical teaching with public school students in a classroom setting. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with strong communication and interpersonal skills, caring, perceptive, and proficient in teaching children.

The role requires teaching LifeWise curriculum, building relationships with students, and maintaining classroom records. Training, open houses, and community involvement are expected as part of the position.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church setting.
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial and ongoing training including LifeWise Teacher Certification.
• Teach LifeWise classes using LifeWise curriculum and build relationships with students.
• Maintain attendance records and class rosters; prep substitute materials as needed.
• Maintain organized, clean classroom and manage emergency procedures.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers and program director; share updates.
