Job summary

Minnewaska Community Health Services in Starbuck, MN is seeking a Part Time Care Attendant to provide personal care and health-related services to residents, contributing to their physical and emotional wellbeing.

The position reports to Housing Manager and requires compassionate bedside manner, ability to read/write/speak English, and completion of background study; ACNA/NAR or HHA certification preferred. Shift includes every other weekend and emphasizes teamwork and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• ACNA/NAR or HHA certificate is preferred, but not required.
• Care Attendant must be sensitive and apt for working with the elderly.
• Must read, write and speak English and pass a state background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Administer medications as delegated by RN.
• Observe residents and report changes to RN.
• Promote independence and dignity for residents.
• Follow all policies including HIPPA.
