Job summary

Minnewaska Community Health Services in Mora, MN is seeking a compassionate Care Attendant to provide personal care and health-related services, supporting residents' wellbeing.

This part-time position includes shift and weekend differentials, requires English proficiency, and may require ACNA/NAR or HHA certification; background checks will be completed.

You will work under the Housing Manager, perform essential daily living activities, observe changes, document care, and participate in training.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak English and comprehend simple instructions.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and documentation on each resident.
• Flexibility, compassion and teamwork in elder care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal cares including bathing, grooming and dressing.
• Help with medication administration as delegated by RN and monitor vitals.
• Provide and lead activities, observe changes in condition and report to RN.
• Maintain safety, use proper body mechanics and follow care plans.
• Prepare meals as directed and support residents with daily living tasks.
