Job summary

Amivie, LLC is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will provide direct care, support daily living skills, document care, and help with community activities.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 18+ years old, valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass background checks and health screenings. Training on medication administration is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) is required.
• Age 18 or older is required.
• Valid driver's license in good standing and reliable transportation.
• Must pass all background checks and health screening (TB).

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with goals in the individualized support plan.
• Provide ADL support (bathing, grooming, toileting, feeding, meals) per plan.
• Safely transport individuals in company or personal vehicles.
• Participate in community integration activities with individuals.
• Document all care in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) on schedule.
• Engage with individuals at home and in the community.
• Uphold rights, confidentiality, and HIPAA compliance.
• Maintain professional boundaries and follow policies and procedures.
• Act as a mandated reporter for abuse, neglect or exploitation.
