Job summary

Meals on Wheels of the Monterey Peninsula seeks a Development Coordinator to manage donor data, recognition processes, and support fundraising efforts. You will maintain development records, assist donor relations, and provide administrative support for events and campaigns.

Reporting to the Development Director, this position emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and collaboration with the team to deepen donor engagement and grow general philanthropic support.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and CRM tools.
• Valid California Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work independently and support events.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle donor information appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Enter gifts and donor records in Bloomerang/CRM and track campaigns.
• Reconcile revenue with Bookkeeper and Controller.
• Maintain donor databases and ensure data accuracy.
• Prepare IRS-compliant acknowledgement letters.
• Assist with online fundraising and Giving Tuesday.
• Support development events, auctions, and lists.
• Greet visitors and maintain a welcoming on-site environment.
• Maintain files per retention policies and data standards.
• Coordinate with Development Director and teams.
