Job summary

Meals on Wheels San Francisco is seeking a Senior Development Associate to support the Development team in planning and executing fundraising initiatives. You will manage projects, assist with donor stewardship, campaigns, and grant administration, and help optimize fundraising systems.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across departments to enhance donor communications and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Approximately 4–6 years of nonprofit development experience or equivalent fundraising knowledge.
• Experience with donor stewardship, campaigns, communications, and development operations.
• Proven ability to independently manage projects from planning through execution.
• Experience with donor databases or CRM systems and data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage development projects from planning through execution with timelines and deliverables.
• Support donor cultivation, stewardship, campaigns, events, and communications.
• Prepare donor materials, briefings, presentations, and reporting.
• Coordinate priorities, deadlines, and workflow improvements across the team.
• Provide hands-on support for daily development operations and CRM processes.
