Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate in a part-time role at our Montgomery, AL location. You will greet customers, help them locate products, and ensure a smooth shopping experience while supporting team members across departments.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, stocking, processing orders, and potentially cross-training in other areas to deliver exceptional service. Bi-lingual skills and basic tech familiarity are valued as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying or outputting information)
• 6 months experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets
• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
• Ability to stand or sit for long periods and perform job duties
• Lift at least 25 lbs unassisted, or more with accommodation

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's and provide friendly, professional service
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Stock shelves and replenish supplies as needed
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive items on time
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve service
• Prepare department merchandise (e.g., paint tinting, pipe cutting, wood cutting)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Perform other duties as assigned
