Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. in Northport, AL is seeking a Customer Service Associate to warmly welcome customers, help them find products, and process purchases. You may assist in loading merchandise and restocking shelves while delivering exceptional service across departments.

This on-site, part-time role emphasizes teamwork and flexible scheduling, with opportunities to grow through the Track to the Trades program and other Lowe’s benefits.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information)
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (smartphones/tablets)
• Basic reading/writing and arithmetic skills
• Ability to stand/sit for extended periods and perform duties
• Lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with/without accommodation

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and deliver friendly, professional service
• Assist customers in locating and handling merchandise
• Replenish stock and organize shelves
• Process orders and deliveries accurately
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve service
• Prepare department merchandise based on customer needs (paint, pipes, wood, drywall, etc.)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
