Job summary

Ferrellgas is seeking a Part-Time Customer Service Specialist to handle inbound and outbound communications and assist customers with inquiries. You will support internal teams to deliver high-quality experiences while contributing to business growth.

Responsibilities include scheduling deliveries, handling general service questions, and assisting with account setup, payments, or soft collections as needed. A background in customer service and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Exceptional customer service and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational skills with typing and data entry experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with team collaboration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Access.
• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, or have authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship not required.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, chat, social media, or email professionally.
• Sustain and improve customer relationships on a daily basis.
• Identify customer issues with targeted questions.
• Maintain accurate account information.
