Job summary

Atlanta Technical College is seeking a Part-Time Adjunct Instructor for Culinary Arts to deliver engaging classroom and hands-on instruction. The role targets candidates with strong industry background and teaching experience, with exposure to nutrition, safety, and cost control in culinary programs.

Evening/weekend teaching may be required. Minimum qualifications include an Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts, 5+ years as a Sous Chef or higher, and a current SERV Safe Certification.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts with demonstrated teaching ability.
• Five (5) years of related occupational experience as a Sous Chef or higher overseeing at least six employees within the last ten years.
• Current SERV Safe Certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver quality curriculum with daily instruction of Culinary in classroom and practical settings.
• Demonstrate ability to teach savory food preparation and artistic presentation.
• Follow approved course syllabus and adapt instruction for multi-cultural populations.
