Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts or completion of a Culinary Apprenticeship Program with Industry certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field or industry experience preferred.
• Teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop program and course outlines, goals, and objectives.
• Prepare lesson plans for classroom instruction for credited technical/occupational courses.
• Evaluate students’ progress toward goals.
• Request and maintain supplies and equipment.
• Prepare and submit required budget requests.
• Maintain program certification requirements.
• Prepare documentation and administrative reports.
• Ensure safety and security in the training area.
• Meet with students and staff to discuss instructional programs.
• Assist with recruitment, retention, and job placement.
