Job summary

Tyler Junior College PATH is seeking a Student Assistant to support PATH's mission in Tyler, Texas. You will assist with the food pantry, reception duties, and casework, traveling to PATH facilities as needed.

Position is limited to 18 hours per week and requires basic computer skills, confidentiality, and a customer-oriented approach. Undergraduate enrollment is expected for eligibility.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting food pantries, reception duties, data entry, and casework is a plus.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Willingness to travel to PATH location and work up to 18 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Food Pantry Support: assist families, record donations, and help with inventory.
• Reception Duties: greet clients, verify eligibility, assist with intake forms.
• Casework: conduct one-on-one visits, document data in Charity Tracker, provide referrals.
