Job summary

PORTFOLIO RESIDENT SERVICES INC. is seeking a part-time Program Coordinator to support resident services in affordable housing communities. The role focuses on organizing developmental activities, coordinating volunteers, and connecting residents with local resources.

The ideal candidate works independently, is organized, outgoing, and community‑minded. The position requires a commitment of 12:00–17:00, two days per week, with some evenings or weekend calls as duties demand.

Qualifications

• Experience in education, social work or nonprofit fields.
• Ability to work 2 days per week from 12‑5pm (Mon‑Fri) and occasional evenings/weekends.
• Familiarity with community resources and resident services.
• Must have home computer and email access.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for residents and serve as a point of contact.
• Create and post monthly calendars of activities and recruit volunteers.
• Log donations, volunteer involvement and program activity data.
• Coordinate with property management and PRS staff to address resident needs.
• Monitor activities and supervise community center usage.
