Job summary

PORTFOLIO RESIDENT SERVICES INC. seeks a part-time Program Coordinator to foster resident engagement and provide CORES certified resident services at affordable housing communities.

This role entails creating monthly activity calendars, coordinating donations, and building partnerships with community organizations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, organized, and capable of independent work with a heart for the community.

Qualifications

• 2 days per week, 1–5pm schedule.
• Evening/weekend availability 1–2 times per quarter.
• Experience in education, social work, nonprofit or related field.
• Experience with children, teens, adults and/or seniors.
• Able to work independently without supervision and multitask.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with community and social service resources.
• Attend quarterly team meetings.
• Comfortable using company-issued technology (iPad) and basic apps.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a link between PRS and the affordable housing community.
• Create and implement a monthly calendar of developmental activities and resources.
• Oversee donations, resident engagement, and volunteer efforts.
• Log communications with volunteers, community partners and donations.
• Provide information about local resources or assistance within the community.
• Communicate resident needs to personnel to facilitate addressing them proactively.
