Job summary

Portfolio Resident Service is seeking a part-time Program Coordinator to support residents in affordable housing communities. You will design monthly developmental activities, manage a calendar, and coordinate volunteer efforts while engaging with residents of all ages.

The ideal candidate is organized, people-oriented, and comfortable working independently with community partners. Responsibilities include reporting, scheduling, and maintaining center operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in education, social work, nonprofit or related field preferred.
• Must be available 3 days per week; hours 12-5pm (Mon–Fri).
• Occasional evening/weekend availability may be required.
• Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with community resources and nonprofit programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide welcoming, initial contact point for residents at the community center.
• Prepare Monthly reports based on calendars, sign-in sheets, and activity hours.
• Design and post monthly calendars and flyers; distribute door-to-door on-site.
• Oversee program offerings, recruit volunteers, solicit donations, partner with community groups.
• Log communications and donations; submit monthly activity logs.
• Share information about local resources and assist residents’ needs.
• Monitor, supervise, and engage with residents of all ages; maintain sign-in records.
