Portfolio Resident Service is seeking a part-time Program Coordinator to enhance resident services in affordable housing communities. The role supports CORES certified programs that promote skills, healthy living, and family development.

The ideal candidate is organized, self-driven, and community-minded, with the ability to multitask and work independently. The position offers a flexible schedule and involvement in social and nonprofit initiatives.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in education, social work, nonprofit or related field.
• Experience with children, teens, adults and/or senior citizens.

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming and inviting atmosphere to all residents, serve as an initial point of contact to the community centre.
• Prepare reports based on calendar and attendance.
• Design, create and post monthly calendars and updated flyers to advertise activities onsite.
• Oversee program offerings, recruit volunteers, solicit donations and work with community partners.
• Log communications with volunteers and donations; submit monthly log.
• Provide information about local resources or assistance to residents.
• Encourage resident participation and communicate needs to staff to address them.
• Monitor interactions with residents of all ages.
• Maintain sign-in sheets for each activity and program.
