Job summary

Portfolio Resident Services (PRS) seeks a part-time Program Coordinator to connect residents with developmental activities and essential resources. You will coordinate calendars, engage volunteers, and manage donations within affordable housing communities, promoting social and educational programs.

The role emphasizes independence, organization, and effective communication, with a compassionate approach to serving diverse residents, including families and seniors.

Qualifications

• Experience in education, social work, non-profit or related field.
• Volunteer experience considered.
• Experience with children, teens, adults and/or senior citizens.
• Able to work 2 days per week, 12-5pm (Mon-Fri) and occasional evenings/weekends.
• Strong organizational, computer and administrative skills.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with community and social service resources.
• Must have home computer, email access, and ability to print.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a link between PRS and the affordable housing community, maintaining relationships with property, community and management.
• Create and implement a monthly calendar of developmental activities and essential resources.
• Oversee donations, resident engagement and volunteer efforts.
• Log communications with volunteers and donations, submit monthly report.
• Provide information about local resources or assistance within the community.
• Monitor and interact with residents of all ages; maintain sign-in sheets.
