Swedish Hospital in Naperville is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator for the CNICU. This part-time role supports education and staff development while providing direct patient care in the Edward Hospital setting.
Reporting to the Director of Nursing Professional Development, you will mentor staff, lead competency initiatives, and coordinate unit-based education across shifts. A strong nursing background and teaching skills are essential for advancing clinical excellence.
Formación
- Bachelor's in nursing required or Diploma with Bachelor's in Health-Related Field; Masters preferred.
- Current IL nursing licensure and active practice.
- Current specialty certification; if none, certification within one year.
Responsabilidades
- Provide direct patient care as needed and serve as educational resource.
- Mentor and coach nursing staff; facilitate just-in-time education.
- Develop and implement unit-based education and competency plans.
- Collaborate with unit leaders to assess education needs and outcomes.
- Organize on-unit in-services for new products, policies, and practices.
- Support onboarding and professional development of staff.
