Endeavor Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator - Department Based for the CNICU at Edward Hospital in Naperville. This part-time, 0.3 FTE role involves direct patient care, staff coaching, and ongoing education to elevate nursing practice across the unit.

The educator will mentor staff, partner with the Clinical Nurse Manager, and lead onboarding and competency initiatives to ensure safe, high-quality patient care and continuous professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in nursing required; Diploma with Bachelor's in Health-Related Field also acceptable.
• Current Illinois nursing license; current specialty certification; life support certifications as applicable.
• Minimum five years of clinical experience in a medical center or hospital setting.
• Willingness to maintain clinical proficiency and engage in ongoing professional development.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care as part of educator role.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor on the unit.
• Lead educational activities at various times to accommodate staff schedules.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Nurse Manager to assess and address education needs.
• Support staff learning transitions from novice to expert and drive competency development.
• Coordinate unit-specific onboarding and ensure safe integration of new hires.
• Develop and facilitate in-services, competency programs, and education for products and policies.
