Job summary

Absolute Storage Management, LLC. is seeking an Assistant Manager (Client Happiness Hero) for roughly 12 hours per week to help manage rentals, assist tenants, and support daily office operations.

You will interact with customers in person, by phone, and through advertising channels to drive rentals, insurance sales, and moving supplies while maintaining a clean, organized property. Experience in sales or customer service is preferred; a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in sales or retail environment preferred.
• Experience in fast-paced, customer service-related environment preferred.
• Property Manager: At least one year of property management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with renting units in-person, via phone, and through other advertising/marketing opportunities; enhance sales through rentals, insurance and moving supplies.
• Provide excellent customer service by identifying storage needs and offering solutions; guide new customers through rental processes.
• Resolves issues professionally and positively.
• Maintain daily cleanliness and organization of the office, restrooms, grounds, and vacant units; keep well-organised records and perform minor maintenance tasks and regular property inspections to ensure timely and consistent completion.
• Shop local competitors in-person and online; report information gathered, including rates and specials, to supervisors and other departments; perform additional marketing functions as needed.
• Monitors rates, specials, and revenue-related factors.
• Perform required daily administrative tasks including handling cash, balancing receipts, pursuing collections, posting payments, processing daily bank deposits and completing auctions according to policy and laws.
• If at a participating location, assist tenants with completing, processing and returning rentals through programs such as U-Haul, Penske, or company-owned rental truck services.
