You will assist customers with renting units in person and by phone, identify storage needs, and guide renters through the process with a friendly, solution-oriented approach. The role involves daily cash handling, balancing receipts, light maintenance, and marketing support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in sales or retail preferred.
• Experience in fast-paced customer service environments preferred.
• Property Manager: at least one year of property management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with renting units in-person, via phone, and through advertising/marketing opportunities; enhance sales through rentals, insurance and moving supplies.
• Provide excellent customer service by identifying storage needs and offering solutions; guide new customers through rental processes.
• Resolves issues professionally and positively.
• Maintain daily cleanliness and organization of the office and property; perform minor maintenance and inspections; keep organized records.
• Shop local competitors in-person and online; report information gathered to supervisors.
• Monitors rates, specials, and revenue-related factors.
• Perform daily administrative tasks including handling cash, balancing receipts, pursuing collections, posting payments, and deposits.
• If applicable, assist tenants with rentals through programs such as U-Haul, Penske, or company-owned rental truck services.
