Job summary

Absolute Storage Management, LLC. is seeking a Floating Assistant Manager to assist customers with unit rentals both in-person and remotely, and to drive sales through insurance and moving supplies.

The role emphasizes superb customer service, problem-solving, and maintaining tidy, organized facilities across properties. The position requires a high school diploma, preference for sales experience, and a background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in sales or retail environment preferred.
• Experience in fast-paced, customer-service environment preferred.
• Property Manager: 1+ year property management experience preferred.
• Background screening will be conducted at time of hire.
• Driving position may require valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with renting units in-person, via phone, and through advertising/marketing opportunities; boost rentals with insurance and moving supplies.
• Provide excellent customer service by identifying storage needs and offering solutions; guide new customers through rental processes.
• Resolve issues professionally and positively.
• Maintain daily cleanliness and organization of the office, restrooms, grounds, and vacant units; keep records and conduct minor maintenance.
• Monitor local rates, specials, and revenue-related factors.
• Handle daily admin tasks including cash, balancing receipts, postings, and collections.
• Support local marketing by researching competitors and promotions.
• Perform property inspections to ensure timely completion.
