Job summary

Sorenson Communications, LLC in Roanoke, VA is seeking a part-time Installer/Trainer to help customers set up CaptionCall phones at their homes. You will install, troubleshoot, and train users on features while promoting CaptionCall services.

The role requires good communication, reliable transportation, flexibility to work evenings and weekends, and willingness to travel up to 25%. High school diploma or GED and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to communicate effectively in English (reading/writing/speaking/listening).
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Must be able to drive and travel by air as needed.
• Must be reliable, organized and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot CaptionCall phones.
• Courteously train customers on how to use the phone and its features.
• Promote the CaptionCall service.
• Create lead generation activities and generate referrals.
• Attend and participate in trade shows and other corporate events as assigned.
• Guide other CaptionCall activities and make recommendations for expanding the business.
• Recruit and refer potential Installer/Trainer candidates to aid and support local installations and events.
• Complete service calls as assigned.
• Accurately maintain customer records.
• Complete required reports and submit invoices and feedback on customer interactions.
• Retrieve and clean phones of former customers.
• Maintain adequate inventory of equipment and supplies in order to service customers.
• Adapt to new responsibilities as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned
