Job summary

Sorenson Communications is seeking a caring Installer/Trainer for CaptionCall to help customers in their homes. This part-time role involves hands-on installation, training and promoting CaptionCall services, with travel to events and customer sites as needed.

The ideal candidate will have basic computer skills, sales experience, and the ability to work independently evenings and weekends. High school diploma or GED required, with strong customer service focus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer knowledge and experience.
• Sales experience is a plus.
• Experience in the hearing health field preferred.
• Experience working with senior citizens.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot CaptionCall phones.
• Courteously train customers on how to use the phone and its features.
• Promote the CaptionCall service.
• Create lead generation activities and referrals.
• Attend trade shows and other corporate events as assigned.
• Recruit and refer potential Installer/Trainer candidates to aid and support local installations and events.
• Complete service calls as assigned.
• Maintain customer records and submit reports.
