Amentum is seeking a part-time Biometric Technician to support USCIS ASC operations in Fort Myers, FL. You will complete biometric registrations, capture fingerprints, photos and signatures, and help manage entry with courtesy while protecting PII.

The role emphasizes high-quality customer service and secure handling of sensitive information within established timelines and site rules. The schedule is set at roughly 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with hours likely to vary by site

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization; US citizenship required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to speak and write in English.
• Ability to stand for shift duration.
• Ability to hold and grasp applicant's hands to obtain fingerprints.
• Ability to work in a high paced environment with the public.
• Ability to type and use basic computer skills.
• Successful completion of biometrics training within sixty days.

Responsabilités

• Complete biometrics registration for applicants seeking legal immigration to the United States.
• Ensure all entrants are approved applicants, assist with crowd control, and enforce ASC rules.
• Provide front-line customer service as representatives of Amentum and the U.S. Government.
• Perform quality biometrics processing including fingerprints, photographs, and signatures.
• Screen applicants for valid appointment notices and IDs.
• Utilize barriers to ensure safe, organized entry into the facility.
• Inspect belongings before entry; may ask health questions during pandemics.
• Conduct periodic facility checks and report concerns to Site Supervisor.
• Assist Site Supervisor and/or officers in contacting local law enforcement when necessary.
• Maintain administrative records: processing times, biometrics reconciliation, visitor logs.
