Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a part-time teacher to share gospel through Bible-based classroom instruction with public school students. Ideal candidate is an active church participant with strong communication and interpersonal skills, caring, perceptive and proficient in teaching children.

Responsibilities include training, cert within 30 days, teaching LifeWise classes with curriculum customization, building relationships with students, maintaining attendance and rosters, and representing LifeWise

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting.
• Active commitment to LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training; certification within 30 days and annual LifeWise Summit attendance.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the curriculum; map out curriculum customization and redemptive discipline.
• Maintain attendance and class rosters; coordinate with school officials as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and manage supplies within budget.
• Act as LifeWise ambassador; engage with community events and communicate LifeWise's mission.
