Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time LifeWise teacher to share the gospel in a classroom setting with both churched and unchurched students. The ideal candidate participates actively in their local church and demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills while caring for students.

You will complete training, use LifeWise curriculum, build relationships with students, and maintain class records with support from the program director.

Qualifications

• Two years of classroom teaching experience with students in school or church setting.
• Mature Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy's beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial and ongoing training, including LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days and annual LifeWise Summit attendance.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using LifeWise curriculum and build relationships with students.
• Maintain attendance, health notes, and class rosters; prepare substitute materials as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and manage safety procedures.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers, and program director; share updates and photos.
