Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a part-time LifeWise Teacher to share the gospel with public school students in a classroom setting. Ideal candidates actively participate in church life and demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a mature Christian faith aligned to LifeWise beliefs.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church settings.
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with the What We Believe section of LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training; complete the LifeWise Teacher Certification Course within 30 days and before teaching.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the curriculum and map curriculum customization.
• Invest in relationships and prayer with students; maintain an organized, encouraging classroom with redemptive discipline.
• Apply LifeWise policies, procedures and resources; stay updated via LifeWise communications.
• Maintain attendance and accurate class rosters; prepare information for substitutes.
• Communicate as a LifeWise ambassador; participate in outreach events and collaborate with school personnel.
