Job summary

Access Services is seeking part-time Behavior Support Specialists to support our intellectual disability and autism programs as contractors. You will perform comprehensive assessments, develop personalized behavior support and crisis intervention plans, and train direct support staff to apply positive practices and least restrictive interventions across multiple program locations.

Caseloads are in Eastern Montgomery County, PA, with flexible scheduling during standard business hours.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field required.
Two (2) years of experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or autism.
Prior training in, and ability to use, evidence-based procedures and techniques (e.g., modeling, prompting, fading, shaping).
Independent 1099 contractors must maintain professional liability insurance with minimum coverage.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments to design behavioral support plans.
Develop behavior support plans with positive practices and least restrictive interventions.
Provide training to direct support staff and caregivers.
Prepare and submit progress notes within 24 hours of service delivery.
Attend ISP and quarterly meetings and supervise ongoing cases.
