Job summary

Access Services is seeking part-time Behavior Support Specialist Contractors to support our intellectual disability and autism programs. You will assess behavior, develop and update behavior support plans and crisis intervention plans, and train direct support staff to apply positive practices and least restrictive interventions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field.
• Two (2) years of experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or autism.
• Knowledge of ABA methods and person-centered planning.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of behavior and analyze findings.
• Develop individualized, comprehensive behavioral support plans.
• Develop crisis intervention plans.
• Train staff to implement behavior supports and positive practices.
• Submit progress notes within 24 hours of service delivery.
