Job summary

Access Services is seeking a part-time Behavior Support Specialist Contractor to support our intellectual disability and autism programs across Easton, Allentown, and Bethlehem areas. You will conduct assessments, develop and update behavior support plans, and train direct support staff to apply positive practices and least restrictive interventions.

Responsibilities include crisis intervention planning, data collection, and collaboration with families and service teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field.
• Two years of experience with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or autism.
• PA Criminal History and Child Abuse Clearances required.
• Prior to contract, complete the 13-hour ODP Functional Behavior Assessment Training (myodp.org/course).
• Post-offer training will be assigned and must be completed before starting work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive behavior assessments and design behavioral support plans.
• Collaborate with participants, family, and service teams to develop plans.
• Develop crisis intervention plans.
• Submit billable progress notes within 24 hours of service delivery.
• Train direct support staff and caregivers on behavior supports.
• Attend ongoing supervision and ISP/quarterly meetings.
• Maintain consistent use of authorized hours.
• Document data collection and progress reporting for planning materials.
