Access Services is seeking part-time Behavior Support Specialist Contractors to support intellectual disability and autism programs. You will assess behavior, develop and update behavior support and crisis intervention plans, and train direct support staff to apply positive practices and least restrictive interventions.

Caseloads cover Easton, Allentown, and Bethlehem areas with flexible weekend options. This role starts at $30 per hour for qualified candidates who hold a bachelor’s degree in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field required.
• Two (2) years of experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or autism.
• 13-hour ODP Functional Behavior Assessment Training required prior to contract; additional training after offer before start.
• Knowledge of ABA methods and least restrictive interventions; ability to train staff and develop behavior support plans.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to design behavioral support plans.
• Collaborate with participants, families and teams to develop plans with positive practices and least restrictive interventions.
• Develop individualized behavioral support plans aligned with service plans.
• Develop crisis intervention plans.
• Submit progress notes within 24 hours of service delivery.
• Train support staff to ensure proper plan implementation.
• Participate in supervision and maintain authorized hours.
• Attend ISP and quarterly meetings.
• Implement activities from behavior plans to support participants.
• Prepare required documentation for data collection and planning materials.
