Job summary

Access Services is seeking part-time Behavior Support Specialist Contractors to support intellectual disability and autism programs across Easton, Allentown, and Bethlehem areas. The role involves assessments, developing and updating behavior support plans, and crisis intervention plans, with training provided to direct support staff and caregivers.

Contractors must meet PA clearances, have a bachelor's degree in a related field, and two years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field required.
• Two (2) years of experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or autism.
• Completion of the 13-hour ODP Functional Behavior Assessment Training before contract start; additional required training after offer.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of behavior to design behavioral support plans.
• Collaborate with participants, families, and service teams to develop positive, least restrictive interventions.
• Develop individualized behavioral support and crisis intervention plans.
• Complete and submit billable progress notes within 24 hours of service delivery.
• Conduct training sessions for support staff to ensure plan fidelity.
• Participate in ongoing supervision and monitor hours usage.
• Attend ISP and quarterly meetings as scheduled.
• Document data collection and progress for annual planning materials.
