Fastenal Co. is seeking a Part-time Sales Associate at our Lower Burrell branch. You will support B2B sales, build relationships with new and existing customers, and promote our inventory management solutions through a consultative approach.

This role offers up to 28 hours per week, requires a valid driver's license, and involves local travel. You will join a team focused on ambition, integrity, and service.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Ability to meet driving record requirements to operate a company vehicle.
• Pursuing or holding a degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Strong aptitude for sales and customer service.
• Highly motivated, self-directed and organized.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs up to 75 lbs.
• Pass drug screen where required.

Responsibilities

• Supporting business to business (B2B) sales and customer service activities.
• Providing value to customer through a consultative sales approach.
• Developing new and growing existing relationships from leads, referrals and prospecting.
• Coordinating resources to respond to customer service needs.
• Performing local sales calls driving a company vehicle to customer sites.
• Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success.
