Job summary

Fastenal Co. is seeking a Part-time Sales Associate for the Cranberry Township branch. This role focuses on B2B sales, customer service, and developing strong client relationships while representing Fastenal’s inventory management solutions.

The position supports local sales calls, application of a consultative sales approach, and collaboration with the store team to drive branch success. The hours are up to 28 per week. Immediate availability at 20804 Rte 19, Cranberry Township, PA 16066.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle.
• Pursuing or holding a degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations or related field OR relevant experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Strong sales aptitude with a customer-service mindset.
• Strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities.
• Strong problem solving and deductive reasoning skills.
• Adherence to company core values: ambition, innovation, integrity, teamwork.
• Able to lift 25–50 lbs (up to 75 lbs) and pass drug screen where required.

Responsibilities

• Support B2B sales and customer service activities.
• Provide value through a consultative sales approach.
• Develop new and growing existing relationships from leads, referrals and prospecting.
• Coordinate resources to respond to customer service needs.
• Perform local sales calls driving a company vehicle to customer sites.
• Perform other duties to ensure branch success.
