Job summary

Fastenal Co. is seeking a Part-time Sales Associate for our Allentown, PA location. You will support B2B sales and customer service, develop new relationships, and drive branch success with a consultative approach.

This role requires driving a company vehicle and lifting 25–50 lbs, with a part-time schedule of up to 28 hours per week. Ideal candidates have strong communication, computer skills, and a customer-service mindset, plus the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age with valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Management or related field OR customer service/industry experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Strong aptitude for sales and customer service.
• Motivated, self-directed and customer-service oriented.
• Strong math, organization, planning and prioritization.
• Problem solving and decision making abilities.

• Lifts and moves 25–50 lbs, up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support B2B sales and customer service activities.
• Provide value via consultative sales approach.
• Develop new and grow existing relationships from leads and referrals.
• Coordinate resources to respond to customer service needs.
• Perform local sales calls using a company vehicle.
• Take on other duties to help branch success.
