Job summary

Acima is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Store Manager in Troy, MI. You will support the Store Manager in account management, sales, and customer service while collaborating with Acima partner stores to process credit turn-downs and web orders into Acima credit customers.

You will review lease applications, educate customers on leasing terms, and drive conversions. The role emphasizes teamwork across partner stores and delivering a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
• Familiarity with rental or leasing industry practices is a plus
• Organized, with time-management skills and the ability to multi-task
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Consistent in-person attendance

Responsibilities

• Drive customer growth through appropriate channels (web, partner stores, walk-ins)
• Listen, identify, and fulfill customer needs promptly
• Educate customers on Lease-To-Own terms, payments terms, and application process
• Close sales by converting applications from in-store and web orders
• Collaborate with Acima partner stores in operations
• Report to Store Manager on store and coworker performance
• Maintain high-quality customer service and resolve issues promptly
